Today’s savvy buyers are hungry for content. That’s why Content Marketing is so effective, if done correctly. Don’t believe me, then let’s test this theory. Today I want you to go out to the street corner, talk to 8-10 total strangers and ask them to give you $47. Maybe $97. OK, How about 2 payments of $197. NO, You don’t want to that. Why Not? Because is seems weird and strange to go up to a complete stranger and ask for their hard earned money, Right? Not to mention, not very safe. But that’s what a large population of MLM, Network Marketers, Direct Sale Companies are doing right now, everyday, with products or services. You might not be selling from the street corner, but that is what you’re doing . Calling all your family and friends to tell them about your new business opportunity, or asking them to host a party at their home for your new (Fill In The Blank) business . Talking to the cashiers at the grocery store, or guys at the car repair shop, or other soccer moms at your kids game. As soon as we see warn flesh we go into the company scripted speech about how wonderful our product and company is, Blah Blah Blah. How many Walmart, McDonalds, or Macy’s employees have you seen on the streets, at the car repair shop, or at the soccer game trying to sale you something. Or pitch you on how great their burgers are over the competition. Never Happens! And there’s a reason why.

Start with the outcome your desire to have, then work your way backwards. Think about how your company goals fall into this plan?

What means will you use to analyze the results of your Content Marketing Campaign?

PROMOTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF CONTENT

After all the content strategy has been developed, it is equally important to create a Promotion Distribution Plan for your content. Determining the where, the who, and the how often to distribute your content is the next step. Often times companies create great content for their businesses and the problem is not in the content, but in the distribution.
